My name is Mathilde, I'm French and I live in Edinburgh, Scotland (although I have moved to Wellington, New-Zealand for now). I'm an environmentalist who works in sustainability and climate change, and I'm passionate about what I do. I created The Leaf because I couldn't find a platform to discuss and share my thoughts and knowledge with others about sustainability, climate change and the environment.

Here you will find content which puts forward and discuss climate change and the climate emergency, why we're not acting faster and what we can do about it as individuals and communities.

The Leaf is for the non-environmentalists, the experts and anyone in-between. I believe that by amplifying education on climate change we can save our planet, one step at a time.

With The Leaf, I aim to share my knowledge on sustainable development and bring forward necessary questions to support you to implement sustainability further into your life, whatever that means for you, your neighbour or somebody on the other side of the planet, which, in the end, we all share.
